Congratulations to Zone 7's
Sea Sea Dance and Samantha Reynoso were selected to ride in the
Lindsay Maxwell Charitable Fund/USHJA Emerging Athletes Program National Training Session, as well as
Tess von Hemel, who was selected as an alternate stable manager!
The National Training Session will be November 7-10 at the University of Findlay. Horsemanship Quiz Challenge Nationals will also be held during EAP Nationals. Stay tuned to see who will be attending!

Congratulations to members who competed in the
Zone 7 Equitation Championship September 4-8 at
Lake St. Louis Indoor Preview in Lake St. Louis, Missouri. Hannah Dodd won the class, Ella Reinauer earned second and Elizabeth Nestor was third. Last year's winner, Jaden Porter, was present for the award ceremony.

ANRC National Equitation Championships
The
ANRC National Equitation Championships are an invitational competition for collegiate, junior, adult amateur, and ANRC alumni teams that pay an annual ANRC team membership fee. There is no need to qualify. Everyone is welcome to join us for the 2020 championships April 9-11, 2020. Membership opens September 1, 2019.
The championship for each group is held on the same weekend and judged separately. In each championship, teams may compete in a 3′ National Division or a 2’6″ Novice Division. Participants may compete on a school-owned horse, a leased horse, or a privately-owned horse.
IEA Announces 2019-2020 Youth Board Members
The Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) announced the elected members of the 2019-2020 IEA Youth Board. The Youth Board was created by the IEA’s Education Committee in 2016 and is governed by Adult Advisors Shara Prieskorn (IEA Membership Office Coordinator), Simon Towns (Zone Captain), and Sue Wentzel (IEA National Steward), as well as two IEA Alumni - Hannah Bentz and Aubrey Braham.
The IEA Youth Board is structured with one student representative from each of the ten Hunt Seat Zones. Morgan O'Donnell, a Senior from League City, Texas, who rides with Blue Fox Farms is the representative from Zone 7.
