The new UR16e is built to expand the applications cobots can solve with an impressive 16 kg of payload that addresses a wide range of heavy-duty tasks. The UR16e empowers manufacturers to accelerate their automation capability with an easy to deploy, flexible collaborative industrial robot that can handle high payload applications.
UR16e combines the high payload with a reach of 900 mm and pose repeatability of +/- 0.05 mm making it ideal for automating tasks such as heavy-duty material handling, heavy-part handling, and machine tending.
Mobile robots add mobility to the robotic arms and are used in production and in warehouse logistics where the process of repeatedly picking products from warehouse shelves and carrying them back and forth to location points can be automated. It is also relevant for retail warehouses where the robots can pick up orders from different locations and deliver them at a shipping area.
These are monotonous tasks that robots can perform and it frees up the staff for more valuable tasks. Both the mobile robots and the robotic arm are collaborative and can work alongside humans without any extra safety.
