Hello,

It's March. Early spring is an exciting time here at Next Step! The guys are able to get out and explore nature as part of our Outdoor Adventure Program activities, and the renewal of the season fills us all with the hope and gratitude of a sober life.

Here at Next Step Recovery, we specialize in providing compassionate support for men in early recovery. Our program is staffed with trained and licensed addictions professionals and live-in house managers who are actively working their own 12-step program of recovery.

I am often met with surprised excitement when I provide a list of our services to parents. The list includes: transportation, job search, life skills classes, relapse prevention groups, mindfulness and meditation, individual counseling, case management, drug screening, and volunteering in the community, just to name a few.

Around here, it always feels like spring. Renewal is what we do every day.

If a man that you love is seeking the renewal that recovery from addiction can bring, please contact us . We would love to help.

Sincerely,

Susan Stader, MS, LPC, LCAS, CCS-I
Founder/Director

Nature offers some of the best recreation for body and soul, and the rugged Blue Ridge Mountains, lush forests, rivers and waterfalls that surround Asheville are nature at its finest. Our Outdoor Adventure Program provides residents with numerous opportunities to heal and grow in nature.

We know our program works because our residents tell us in so many ways -- with hugs and laughter, shared struggles and victories, and visits from alumni who are excited to tell us how well they're doing and how they've made it through another day, substance free.
