Shana Tova! Happy New Year!
Okay, let's rock 5780! It's a new year! There's a lot going on!

If you are interested in your child doing something IN ADDITION to attending the appropriate services for their age group, please register for youth programs so we have enough supplies and supervision.

R osh Hashanah Day 1: Monday, September 30

  • Babysitting: 9:15 AM - 1:15 PM

  • Tot Yom Tov (holiday) Services at 10 AM followed by challah, juice and cookies

  • K-2 Yom Tov Services at 11 AM followed by challah, juice and cookies

  • B'Yachad (Together). From 10:30 AM - 11:45 AM
Designed for 3rd graders and up including their adults and anyone who prefers an
abbreviated, informal, youth-friendly prayer space.

  • Main Sanctuary: 9:30 AM - 1 PM

  • Programming for School Age Children -- 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM and 11:45 - 1 PM

  • Tashlich at Cabin John Park: 4 PM

Rosh Hashanah Day 2: Tuesday, October 1

  • Babysitting: 9:15 AM - 1:15 PM

  • Main Sanctuary: 9:30 AM - 1 PM

  • Programming for School Age Children: 10 AM - 1 PM

We're Going Apple Picking!!

Join Morah Daphna and other families with kids of all ages (but mostly under 3rd grade) for Apple Picking this Saturday at 10 AM at Homestead Farms in Poolesville, Maryland. There's no Torah School and no Tot Shabbat so bring your energy to the farm and visit with your Adat Shalom friends, pet the farm animals and pick some delicious apples for your Rosh Hashanah dinner!




Let's get Silly in the Sukkah!

Adat Shalom invites you and your family to join us for a celebration of Sukkot! We welcome all families with young children (0-6; older kids too) to join us on
Sunday, October 13 at 4PM
We’ll have lots of activities and games to keep everyone busy until 5:30, when we join the Adat Shalom community to welcome the festival of Sukkot, followed by a pizza dinner for young families.
