EVENT INFORMATION
We are currently recruiting 35 volunteers (All Ages) to help with Habitat Restoration at Sabercat Historical Park on:

  • Saturday, October 5, 2019
  • Saturday, November 9, 2019
  • Saturday, December 7, 2019

VOLUNTEER DETAILS
This event is organized by the City of Fremont Environmental Services Division and is a Habitat Restoration. This is a great opportunity to have a positive impact on the environment.

Volunteer Time: 9 am - 12 pm
Arrive 10 minutes early to sign-in. Safety information starts at 9 am .
Location: Sabercat Historical Park

Recommended :
  • Bring a reusable water bottle, outdoor work clothes; hat, sunscreen, sturdy closed-toe shoes/boots, long pants and a long-sleeved shirt.
  • Gloves and tools will be provided. If you bring your own, please label them

Please note: This volunteer opportunity is limited to the first 35 people. Confirmations will be sent via email. If selected, please bring a completed volunteer form and a service learning verification form (if applicable)
Volunteer Tasks
  • Invasive plant removal
  • Sheet mulching over weeded areas
  • Mulch Mat and browse cage expansion around native tree seedlings
