(Sacramento, CA. - March 8, 2017)   CAWA Chair of the Board, Michael Antonelli of Vantage Marketing Global, has appointed Tom Skov of the Genuine Parts Company - NAPA to the Association's Board of Directors. When Chair Antonelli announced the appointment he commented that "the Genuine Parts Company - NAPA has been a member and major supporter of CAWA for some time. Thus, we are pleased to welcome Mr. Skov as their representative to our Association's leadership". 

Mr. Skov is the Divisional Vice President for the Western Division of NAPA Auto Parts. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Business from Fresno State University in 1994. Shortly after graduation, he started in the automotive aftermarket as a manufacture representative for Dana Corporation selling to NAPA Auto Part stores in Southern California and Mexico. Mr. Skov joined Genuine Parts Company and NAPA San Diego as an Outside Salesperson in 2002 and quickly learned how to run NAPA Auto Part stores. In 2007, he was promoted to District Sales Manager, seven month later he was promoted to DC Sales Manager and one year later he was promoted again to District Manager. This experience prepared Mr. Skov well for his first move to General Manager in San Diego in January, 2010. There he built a strong team and led them to a Triple Crown performance in 2011.This performance led to Mr. Skov being promoted to General Manager of NAPA Phoenix in 2012. After arriving in Phoenix, he promptly led the Phoenix Operation to a Triple Crown in 2012 as well as winning the coveted President's Award that same year. In 2015, he was promoted to the Divisional Vice President for Genuine Parts Company's Automotive Parts Group's Western Division.

CAWA is a regional automotive aftermarket trade association, which represents auto parts jobbers, warehouse distributors, retailers, manufacturers, manufacturer representatives and program groups. The Association provides education, legislative, regulatory and business support to the industry and its membership. It is one of the largest trade associations of its kind in the United States and recognized as a leader in the automotive aftermarket industry.
