Beer & Hymns: Thurs., Oct. 3 @ 6:30pm
|
|
The next Beer and Hymns will be at the home of Larry Harnish and Vicki McDonald. Hymnals and chairs will be provided, bring your own beer or drink of choice, and a snack to share. Hymns will be accompanied by a keyboard. We sing a block of 5 hymns, selected by different people, who also share a little about themselves. Then we take a break from singing to fellowship and come back to sing another block of favorite hymns. Inviting friends, family members, and neighbors is highly encouraged. Everyone who RSVPs with Pastor Eric will receive the address for Larry and Vicki's house.

This is a brand new group with a very simple purpose. We eat lunch together and talk theology. Participants are invited to share a theological question from an experience in everyday life and together we seek for God’s wisdom. We will generally meet monthly on the second Thursday of the month.

Funds raised from this event support the camp scholarship program at Carol Joy Holling Camp. In 2020, over $90,000 of camperships will be given! When you register online, don't register as an individual, register as a part of team "Sheridan Lutheran." Let's get a big team for this run!

Men's Running Group
Sat., Oct. 5 & 19; 7am
Meet Pastor Eric and 4-5 other guys at Sheridan and run on the trails together. The pace of this run is slow enough so that we can visit with each other. We run for an hour. At the end, we pray together. Check out the

Men's Cancer Support Group
Mon., Oct 14; 6:30pm; Church Office Conference Room
The Men’s Cancer Support Group allows men who are experiencing or have experienced cancer to share concerns, promote hope, and receive support from each other. We talk about how to help spouses, children, and others within the family who are experiencing cancer or who have lost a loved one to cancer.
