On-Campus Housing

Families, starting Nov. 1, current FAU residents enrolled in classes during the Fall 2019 semester will be able to complete a housing contract for the fall 2020 and spring 2021 semesters. Once a housing contract is successfully submitted, students may self-select their space during the room selection process. To select your space, log into the  Housing Self Service Portal  on or after Nov. 5 and self-select your room for the 2020-21 academic year. Follow the dates available for room selection on the  room selection timeline page .

Current FAU students who submit their housing contract after the recontracting priority timeline for academic year fall 2020 - spring 2021 will be assigned housing by Housing and Residential Education staff based on availability on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Newly admitted first time to college students and transfer students for summer 2020 and fall 2021 may complete a housing contract starting December 1.

We encourage all students to sign up early for on-campus housing. Housing does fill up quickly. The contract date is a consideration in the housing assignment process.

Peer Academic Coaching

This month, we are excited to spotlight the Peer Academic Coaching program at FAU. Their mission is to support the academic and personal transition of students through individualized coaching and small group discussions.

A Peer Academic Coach (PAC) is either an undergraduate or a graduate student who has been academically successful at FAU. PACs are available to offer student-to-student, FAU specific tips and advice on how to be successful. They work to connect with individual students and help them realize their full potential.

The Peer Academic Coaching program is a part of our larger Coaching Center and is located in the SU-80 Building, Suite 227. Please encourage your student to stop by the center. They can meet with a PAC regularly throughout the semester or just stop in with any questions. You can meet the coaches and find out more about the program by visiting our website at fau.edu/academicsuccess/peer-academic-coaching/.
