The community is invited to the parade at 4 p.m. on Main Street followed by tailgating at Legends Field, the dedication of HL Peterson at Legends Field, the football game and crowning of the king and queen. Celebrate with WHS at this fun family-friendly event today.

Williston Economic Development -  XWA has released a new ad showcasing the terminal, the project and the contractors who helped. The "Thank You" ad can be found on YouTube or click on the play button. The community is invited to tour the site on October 5 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. There will be a free BBQ, giveaways, games and much more for the entire family!
Cymbaluk named President of ND League of Cities Executive Board

Williston Economic Development - Williston City Commissioner Tate Cymbaluk was elected President of the North Dakota League of Cities (NDLC) Executive Board at its annual conference Sept. 19-21 in Bismarck. Cymbaluk will serve through the fall of 2020. The conference provides opportunities for city leaders to share ideas, attend workshops and connect with businesses that provide services and products to municipalities.  NDLC website
WSC Enrollment continues to Climb
Williston State College's fall enrollment is slightly above last year's standing record of 1,124 enrolled students. WSC photo 
News Release - Record fall enrollment continues at Williston State College with 1,132 registered students according to census totals released Tuesday, September 24. Of this fall's enrollees, 834 students are from North Dakota while 143 are from Montana. The remaining 155 come from several other states including California, Colorado, and Minnesota; Canada; and other countries. Read More
First National Bank seeks Name Change
Sidney Herald - The board of directors of First National Bank and Trust Co. of Williston announced the bank will be converting to a state chartered financial institution. First National Bank and Trust Co. of Williston opened its doors on Feb. 13, 1926, as a state chartered bank under the name Commercial State Bank. The bank currently operates branches in Williston, Crosby and Ray. As part of the conversion process, the bank will be rebranded as First State Bank & Trust, pending regulatory approval. Read More
Oil and Gas Industry Career Fair Oct. 2
The Oil and Gas Industry Career Fair was designed to provide students and parents with information about oil and gas career opportunities to make better-informed decisions.
News Release - Area high school, college students and parents are invited to attend the Oil and Gas Industry Career Fair on October 2, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Raymond Family Community Center in Williston. ConocoPhillips presents $100,000 Donation to McKenzie County Emergency Response Departments
A donation from ConocoPhillips will help purchase 24 mobile radios for McKenzie County fire departments, ambulance service and quick response teams. 
McKenzie County Farmer - As North Dakota State Radio begins the process of updating its radio system, several McKenzie County volunteer fire departments and emergency response departments will get a leg up on the process thanks to a $100,000 donation by ConocoPhillips. During the McKenzie County Commission meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 17, representatives of ConocoPhillips presented a $100,000 check to the McKenzie County Emergency Management office. For the full story, subscribe to the McKenzie County Farmer

The community is invited to attend the meeting from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. at the Teton Lounge. The presenters will be VollSquared and Unify Lending.

10/05 ------ XWA Community Day
The community is invited to the Runway Run, XWA tours, refreshments and activities for kids from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. 

10/15-17 ------ Ports-to-Plains Annual Conference
The three-day event will be held headquartered at the Old Armory in Wiliston.  Registration

10/21 ------ Planning and Zoning Commission
The board meets the third Monday of every month at 5:30 p.m. in the Commission Room at City Hall.
