Call for City of Chicago Christmas Tree Nominations
The City of Chicago is looking for a tree to grace Millennium Park this holiday season and serve as the City's "official" Christmas tree. The family of the selected tree will get the opportunity to "flip the switch" and light the tree at the 106th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on November 22. 2020/2021 Chicago Public Art Prequalified List Request for Qualifications Deadline for Submissions: Monday, October 7 at 11:59pm, CST
Artists, teams and nonprofits prequalified through previous calls
must apply to this RFQ to be considered for prequalification in 2020 and 2021.
DCASE and the Chicago Public Art Program invite Chicago-based professional artists, professional artist teams and nonprofit arts organizations to submit qualifications for potential inclusion in the 2020/2021 Chicago Public Art Prequalified List. Individual Artists Program (IAP) Grant Applications Open October 22
DCASE is pleased to announce the timeline for the 2020 Individual Artists Program (IAP) grant cycle. IAP grants aim to assist Chicago's practicing artists in creating work that develops their craft and elevates their careers, while adding to the cultural vitality of the city of Chicago. IAP grants support artists across all artistic disciplines including Film & Media Arts, Literary Arts, Performing Arts (Theatre/Dance), Music and Visual Arts/Design. The application will open and guidelines will become available on October 22, 2019. The application deadline is December 5, 2019 at 5pm CST. All applicants are encouraged to attend an Application Assistance Workshop to learn about important updates to this year's program.
