Public Relations
the most expensive "free" advertising you'll ever have
Properly applied, Public Relations activities generate publicity and a level of exposure and credibility impossible to gain through advertising alone. Here at the Chamber, we've developed a strategy that helps us get our name out regionally. This FOX 19 Cincinnati
newsclip is an example of just that.
Are you planning to bring on new employees? Maybe you have moved to a larger office to better serve your customers? Perhaps your company reached a special milestone, like 20 years in business. Any of these would be a perfect opportunity for a Public Relations boost!
If you want to learn more, please join us for our Chamber Chat on March 16.
DMS Ink Communications Director, Gery L. Deer, will discuss Public Relations, from the misconception that it's "free advertising" to how it's generally under-utilized by most small companies. He'll talk about the good and the bad of media releases and how to get the most attention on your material by the right audience.
In addition to working with DMS Ink, Gery also serves as the managing director for the company's creative strategy firm, The Bricks Agency. A Pulitzer nominated writer and newspaper columnist, Gery is the founder of the Western Ohio Writers Association and a leading expert in the areas of business development, marketing and publicity. For the last five years, he's served as the business contributor to the WDTN-TV2 daytime program, "Living Dayton."
