Setting hearts on fire with love of God for the world!
A Personal Connection
Dear LIS Friend,

This month marks the one year anniversary of my joining the LIS team. During this time I've enjoyed learning about the organization's rich history and its impact on the spiritual lives of so many of you. Thanks to your feedback and openness, I am inspired to ensure the legacy of this beloved and important organization is carried in to the future.

God is always seeking us personally. Do you know how much God loves you? Do you realize how much he desires to connect with you intimately? This intimacy is boundless and full of peace. God’s unending mercy has been compared to the water in the sea. I see intimacy like a body of water because there’s no end to God’s desire for us to know him so personally. God meets EACH of us where we are.

We at LIS desire to seek out and increase the ways we can share the Good News and meet the needs of all seekers in the best way we can. We are allowing our mission of setting hearts on fire with love of God for the world to guide us as we take time for introspection. Because our Ignatian spirituality offerings allow seekers of all walks of life the opportunity to be transformed through an intimate awareness of God’s love and presence for them, our goal for this year is to be more collaborative, inclusive and welcoming to all.

My prayer is that we allow the Holy Spirit to guide us in our journey of letting go of whatever prevents us from being consumed by God’s love for us.

Curso de la Virgen María
los martes 24 de septiembre a 29 de octubre
7:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.
Instructora: Sr. Leticia Salazar, ODN
