As if last week were not eventful enough, this week, CVHS is celebrating Colt Pride during Homecoming week. The Carnival is on Wednesday from 3:00 pm until 7:30 pm. Be sure to come out for Friday’s Homecoming game to watch the Colts take on the Highlanders. We will recognize our Homecoming Court and watch the crowning of our Homecoming Queen and King.
Saturday’s Homecoming Dance is themed “A Festivale of Gold”. The dance will be held in the HS main commons from 7:00 pm until 10:00 pm. Tickets will continue to be available online and in the cafeteria this week.
This week, CVHS will be participating in the Sandy Hook Promise’s “Start With Hello” Week. Each day there will be activities designed to enable students to make a difference with their peers in a simple, fun, and impactful way by encouraging them to take small but powerful actions to promote connectedness and inclusion, and to identify and help others who are showing signs of social isolation. To kick off the week, everyone wore green today!
Finally, We are excited to share that Chartiers Valley School District was ranked 1st among 46 school districts by Pittsburgh Magazine! We are thrilled and proud of this distinction. It's a great day to be a Colt!
