Kids Café Sign-Up begins Sept 27
This program serves kids a warm meal on a Friday, twice a month, before they head home for the weekend. This will be hosted at Avondale from 4:30 - 6 PM.

Sunday School Sept 29
Sabbath House Sunday School class will begin a discussion of "Not Your White Jesus, Following a Radical Refugee Messiah" by Sheri Faye Rosendahl starting Sun, Sept 29 at 11 AM. Contact

CYPP Sept 29 & Oct 6
If you are interested in serving the children and youth of Avondale and have not yet taken Child Youth Protection Certification or need to re-certify, Patti Oswald will lead two opportunities to do this. Sun, Sept 29 and Sun, Oct 6 at 9 AM in the Fellowship Hall. We invite you to RSVP via our website.

Volunteers are needed to help with the Luncheon on Oct 13.
Please let Suzi Thornberry know if you can help with the following tasks:
- Saturday morning: set-up tables and tents, prep for Sunday and decorate
- Sunday prior to worship: finish table set-up outdoors, prep beverages, accept side dishes
- During the luncheon: serve main dishes and oversee side dishes and beverages/ice
- After the luncheon: clean-up , wash dishes and breakdown tables and chairs

Church Triumphant
We extend our Christian sympathy to the family of Molly Carver, who joined the church triumphant on Sunday, September 22, 2019 (b. May 30, 1939). A celebration of life will be held this Saturday, September 28 at 10 AM at Avondale.
