NEWS FOR THE WEEK OF 09 /23/2019
 
State-Wide Membership 360 Drive Training is happening October 3rd, 2019.
Are you registered yet?

The membership drive is currently going on now through October 31st, 2019. We hope this drive can bring in new members, and keep current members encouraged to continue renewing their membership with the growth in the association.

There will be a variety of incentives offered this year. The top recruiter will win tickets to a Chicago Bears game in 2020. The top builder member could win a  4-day/3-night trip to Napa, Calif., on May 3-6, 2020 OR June 8-11, 2020 with a irfare, meals, hotel and transportation provided. Who wouldn't enjoy that getaway? More information about incentives will be given out at the NAHB interactive training session  that will be held on Thursday, October 3rd, at the Illinois Retired Teachers Association, 828 S 2nd St, Springfield, IL, from 10:30AM - 2:30PM. 
 
Lunch and materials will be provided. Please call the office to register by September 26th. This is a free event and will be a great resource to help with  recruitment so you will not want to miss it!

CAPS Classes

Remodelers and therapists certified in CAPS are trained to work with the homeowner to make it a safe and comfortable place for them to live for many more years. The three classes required to earn the CAPS designation detail the technical, business management and customer service skills essential to success for remodelers and therapists interested in incorporating modifications designed to enable homeowners to stay in their homes safely for a longer period of time. Endorsed by AARP, the CAPS designation has gained increased recognition in the marketplace and has become more popular among occupational therapists, Veterans Administration caseworkers and others who do business primarily with the aging population.
