A Farmville, Virginia native, Tommy Trevilian graduated high school from New Life Christian Academy. He earned an Associate of Applied Science in Medical Laboratory Technology through a consortium agreement between Central Virginia and Southside Virginia Community Colleges.
After earning his associate's degree, Tommy received Medical Laboratory Technology certification through the American Society of Clinical Pathology and began working at Centra Southside Community Hospital. He then completed his Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science through Virginia Commonwealth University.
Tommy is now a Medical Laboratory Scientist at Centra Southside Community Hospital. He plans to continue his education to complete a master's degree and wishes to enter either hospital administration or teaching on the college level.
