Baruch Dayan Emet (Praised be the Judge of Truth)
With sadness beyond words, I share the news of the passing of Emmet Manheim, beloved son of Lisa and Jeff, beloved grandson of Fredda and Ed Goldstein and Bobbi and Mike Manheim; beloved brother of Josh, Caleb and Rachel Manheim; beloved nephew of Amy and Brian Staub, Mark and Carolyn Manheim and Jill and Aaron Goldberger; and beloved cousin of Charlie and Oliver Staub, Nate and Jenna Goldberger and Luke and Ashley Manheim.

Emmet, at the precious age of 10, possessed the wisdom and courage of someone far older, especially as he valiantly confronted his illness, and he will always be remembered here at TBE.

The funeral will take place at Temple Beth El on Sunday at 11 AM, with interment at Beth El Cemetery.  The family will then return to their home at 117 Edward Place in Stamford, where they will sit throughout the afternoon.

While shiva doesn't officially take place during the holidays, the family will be receiving callers on Wed. and Thurs. from 1-5 PM and 7-9 PM each day.  A service will be held there at 7 PM both days.

The family has asked the memorial contributions be directed to Temple Beth El.

May the mourners be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.

Rabbi Joshua Hammerman
