Our optional fundraising begins today and ends Oct 12th (disregard date on info sheet). We have City Saver cards for sale and cookie dough. All checks should be made out to St. Catherine of Siena ECEC. Our school earns 50% of every sale! This fundraiser will be going towards storage needs, playground equipment and improvement of science centers in the classrooms. We appreciate all of your efforts! If you see toys coming home they are most likely prizes from sales and your child DID NOT take a toy from the classroom! :)

Please note that classroom Halloween celebrations are on 11/1 not 10/31 as previously stated.

Attention! We must have complete student files by Friday 9/27/19 or your child will not return to school on 9/30/19.

This is a mandate from the Ohio Department of Education. Unfortunately we are not permitted to make exceptions to this mandate as it will affect our licensing through ODE. If you are having difficulty obtaining a piece of information for the file, please contact the office.

If your child started school AFTER 8/26/19, please know your deadline is 30 days after the first day of attendance.

Winter Sports

Most Blessed Sacrament Basketball sign up begins soon! It is offered to ages preschool and up! Most Blessed Sacrament's sign up will begin September 30th and end on November 8th. Players are required to be a student or a parishioner of the church. Practice will begin for Pre-K through 2nd in January. Registration is done by completing forms and paying fees online at:

Pre-K through 8th grade fees are $65. Fees are due by November 8th. If you have any questions please feel free to email our Athletic Director, Nicole Ortiz, at [email protected].

Other parishes also have sports please check with your parish. If they do not offer and you would like your child(ren) to play please email me and we will work something out

Forms

St. Catherine and St. Clement Parishes will be hosting a blood drive Monday Oct. 21st 2 PM- 7 PM in St. Catherine of Siena Gym. To schedule an appointment call 1-800-RED-CROSS or visit redcrossblood.org and enter sponsor code STCLEMCATH

For those who are not aware, Mrs. L has been diagnosed with breast cancer and will be undergoing treatment near the end of October. We would like to provide meals, gift cards and letters of encouragement to her during this time. If you would like to donate, participate or drop anything off to the office please do so by 10/21/19. Mrs. L lives in Tecumseh Michigan so a typical meal train is not feasible but take out gift cards for meals would be appreciated. She says she eats anything! We love you Mrs. L and are behind you & beside you with prayers and support!

School Cancellations and Delays & Notifications

1. Look for "Washington Local" delays or closings on the news or via news station alerts.

2. Sign up for Remind to have alerts sent to you via text or email about delays/closings, event reminders like picture day, field trips, special activities etc.
