TVNPA welcomes back Mony Nop and Tess Owen, two top influencers on social media, to present a dynamic program illustrating social media best practices for nonprofit organizations. Addressing the nuts and bolts of various platforms and communications techniques, this program aims to demystify the online world of social media and also aid you in creating key partnerships with donors, volunteers and colleagues.

About our Speakers
Mony Nop is the co-founder of the Tri-Valley Nonprofit Alliance and the founder of Rising Young Leaders in Livermore. After serving seventeen years as a Livermore police officer, Mony retired from the force to establish Mony Nop Real Estate while also pursuing his commitments to serving the community through nonprofit organizational endeavors. Mony’s passion for community involvement stems from being a survivor of the Killing Fields of Cambodia and is fueled by his gratitude to the communities that have embraced him throughout his life and career. Mony has a huge social media following and loves using social media to grow his business and organizations throughout the Tri-Valley and beyond.
Mony has been featured on the CBS Early Show and ABC Extreme Make Over-Home Edition, honoring his extensive community service. Some of his awards include the Good Neighbors Award from Bay East Association of Realtors in 2014, the Good Neighbors Award from National Association of Realtors in 2017, the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Legacy Award in 2018 and the St. Mary’s College Meritorious Service Award in 2019.
Tess Owen is founder and CEO of Omni Social Media and is a valued social media expert, public speaker and woman of influence in the Bay Area. Tess stresses hard work, integrity, and creativity as the foundation of a strong digital marketing strategy. With an old fashioned work ethic and modern online marketing knowledge, Tess brings a unique, relationship-centered approach to digital marketing campaigns and coaching.

TVNPA Monthly Programs are regularly open to the community at large at no cost.
There is no fee to attend TVNPA's regular monthly programs, including our annual Grantmakers Panel program. Membership in the alliance is not required to participate. Members have access to additional members-only programs and events and receive a discounted price at ticketed events. Pre-registration for all attendees is preferred, but not required! We encourage you to bring your colleagues. Simply add additional colleagues when you register for the event.
