Nearly 175 attorneys, diversity officers, business and administrative staff, and summer associates joined the first-ever Diversity Summit on July 11, celebrating the strides our bar association has made in diversity and inclusion in the legal profession, while focusing on the work ahead that is necessary to achieve our goals. The five-hour CLE inspired interactive discussion on issues including implicit bias, understanding the gender spectrum, the business side of diversity and inclusion, the importance of allyship, hiring and retaining a diverse workforce, and changing roles in parental responsibility.
