Houston City Council Member Dave Martin to Host
CIP Town Hall Meeting for Southeast Houston/Clear Lake Residents
 
Houston, TX - Houston City Council Member Dave Martin will host a capital improvement project (CIP) and t own hall meeting on Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at Space Center Houston located at 1601 NASA Road 1, in the Destiny Theater. Residents are invited to attend to hear from city and community representatives about ongoing capital improvement projects, local issues and community news related to the Southeast Houston and Clear Lake areas of District E.

This spring's CIP Town Hall Meeting will include presentations from City of Houston Public Works and Engineering as well as Parks and Recreation departments. Public Works and Engineering will discuss various upcoming infrastructure projects and Parks and Recreation will provide an update on Sylvan Rodriguez Park. Additionally, Chief Resiliency Officer, Stephen Costello, has been asked to provide District E residents a storm surge update.
 
Council Member Martin has also invited Houston Police Department Captain Jerome Stevens to address the issue of panhandlers within the Southeast Houston/Clear Lake area. Lastly, newly appointed police Chief Art Acevedo will also be in attendance. We hope that you will join us to learn about the projects in and around the Southeast Houston/Clear Lake area.
