Families are invited to Osborn Park on Monday, September 30 to "Walk It Out" with Zahara! The Metro Parks Staff will guide you on a walk to spot fall wildflowers that are blooming, as well as explore the pollinator patch and the meadows. The walk is from 5:00pm-6:00pm. We hope to see you there!

VICTORY DAY 2019
Victory Day returns for the sixth year to Kalahari Field at Huron Memorial Stadium on Saturday, September 28, beginning at 2:00pm. The Huron and St. Mary Central Catholic High School varsity football teams, cheerleaders, and marching bands are co-hosting a special event for children with severe learning and physical disabilities. Participants will be partnered with a Huron High School or St. Mary football player or cheerleader who will serve as their mentor for the day. Each child is provided with a full game day experience and given an opportunity to run or catch a pass for a touchdown. Please join us for this wonderful event!

GIL KROMER MEMORIAL RUN
The TLC Class is hosting the Annual Gil Kromer Memorial 2-Mile Run/Walk on Sunday, October 27, 2019. Registration begins at 11:30am, with the race starting at 1:00pm. Proceeds from the race benefit the Gilbert David Kromer Scholarship Fund, established at SCCS.

FOOTBALL MINI CHEER CLINIC
On Saturday, October 5, the Panther Cheerleaders will be hosting a football season mini cheer clinic for students in preschool through grade 5. The High School cheerleaders will work with the students to learn healthy nutrition, proper stretching techniques, motions, jumps, sideline chants, group cheer, and dances. Participants will receive a team t-shirt and a special cheer gear item. All participants are invited to join our Panther Cheerleaders during the first quarter of the Varsity football game.

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS SCHOLARSHIP
The Knights of Columbus Ohio Charity Foundation has opened their annual $1000 high school tuition scholarship.
Students must follow guidelines listed here. Applications are to be postmarked no later than November 27, 2019.
FRESHMAN FUTURE MAKERS DAY AT EHOVE The Freshman class will be attending Future Makers Day at EHOVE on October 8 from 11:30am-12:30pm. There is also a Future Makers Showcase event for families in the evening from 5:00pm-7:00pm. The evening includes Interactive stations with local employers, networking, and refreshments. FRESHMAN CLASS NEW GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS PARENT MEETING
Recently, Ohio Department of Education updated the graduation requirements for the freshmen class, Class of 2023, and beyond. Miss Howman will be hosting a parent meeting on Tuesday, October 15 in the Panther Performance Center at 6:00pm to review these changes.
Saturday, September 28 is Life Teen Inspiration at Cedar Point. The day is an opportunity to spend time with other Catholic teens at the park all day and attend an evening of praise, worship, Adoration, and a talk led by a fantastic team.
