Click : select the number of participants for  EARLY BIRD Full Day (Regular Workshop) or EARLY BIRD Half Day (Mini Workshop)
After you have selected the number of participants:

Enter "SSSG"
You will get a discount of $35/student.
  • BEGINNERS: beginner students may participate in the Mini-workshop. There is no cost, but please register.
  • Students in the GYMC Junior and Intermediate Orchestra should sign-up for the workshop. We will schedule your workshop activities around your orchestra rehearsals.
  • Adults interested in participating are welcome to sign-up. You will receive an adult group class, a music enrichment class and participate in the student play-in. Please do not use the SSSG promo code for your adult registration. Your fee is not covered by SSSG.
  • Here is an updated list of teachers for the conference:

  • Suzuki Early Childhood Education (SECE) class: Anyone with a child 0-3 may sign-up for this class. Each child must be accompanied by an adult


Guelph Musicfest fest
Guelph Musicfest continues with a pair of Fall (winter) concerts beginning with Vancouver violinist David Gillham in Recital with pianist Ken Gee on Saturday November 23  at 7:30 pm in the GYMC Recital Hall.
This is a programme with incredibly beautiful and virtuoso music for violin and piano by Vitali, Prokofiev, Debussy, Smetana and Wieniawski.
THERE ARE LESS THAN 20 TICKETS LEFT FOR THIS CONCERT.
 
On Sunday December 15 at 2:30 pm, the FESTIVAL TRIO reunites for an encore performance of the Debussy Cello Sonata, Ravel's Violin Sonata no. 2 and the popular Dumky Trio by Dvorak. It's a live recorded concert for the trio's first CD. Violinist Sadie Fields returns from Brussels, and cellist Paul Pulford from New Brunswick, to join Ken Gee and record music from their sold-out Musicfest June! Come to the concert-you'll love the music plus help with the cost of the recording and travel. Ticket holders will get a free digital download of the concert when available!

Please return the instrument on the first individual class that your child has next week and send us an  email to confirm the rental is back.

Want to keep an instrument? Many rental periods ended August 31, to keep the instrument use this  form  .

Frog Song: An Opera for Children- Special Workshop performancefrog

Have you ever wondered what goes into making an opera? 
Join us for a special workshop presentation of  Frog Song: An Opera for Children.
Be one of the first audience members to hear this exciting new opera. You'll get a chance to watch musicians, performers, and creators at work!  
Frog Song  follows Navdeep and Wyatt as they chart their way through the loss of a parent, peer-pressure, and female empowerment - all toward finding their true voice. A giant wall of frogs and a mythic skeletal bird add to the magic in this modern-day fairy tale.
