SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
Fall Harvest Staff Appreciation Luncheon

Greetings Bellevue High School Families and Happy Fall!

The Staff Appreciation Committee is excited to announce our first Staff Appreciation Luncheon of the Year! The luncheon will be  hosted by the Junior Class.

Please join us in bringing dishes to share with our staff for the  Fall Harvest Staff Appreciation LuncheonOctober 2nd, Wednesday!

In celebration of the fall Harvest, we will serve delicious cuisine. Please see the attached sign up genius for a listing of dishes and items needed.  We are asking for main dishes, salads, side dishes, deserts and beverages.  Homemade dishes would be amazing!

Please bring serving sizes for 12 people. All food should be dropped off in the PAC between 11 am to 12 pm.  Please bring your food in  10"X13" foil containers or similar sizes. Label ingredients used on the container, so that those with allergies can be informed. We have serving utensils and steam warmers, so no need to bring them.

Thank you Junior Class in advance for your help and support.

Sincerely,
Staff Appreciation Committee

Football

Congrats to the BHS Varsity Football team and coaches for a job well-done on Friday night to beat Garfield 28-27.  That was a great demonstration of hard work, grit, perseverance, and passion.   #risewithus #wolverineway

This week the team takes on the Camas Papermakers on Friday Night at BHS.  Kick-off is at 7pm.

The Papermakers are known for their crowds and football spirit.  So, get your  blue and  gold out, bring all your friends, and let's show them what Bellevue Football is all about on Friday Night!  Go Wolverines !

Girls Soccer

On Tuesday, JV beat Interlake 2-0, and Varsity beat the Saints 3-0, with a header goal by senior Julia Hasbrook, and two goals by Junior Morgan Pingree. Wednesday, JVC shut-out soccer powerhouse Skyline 2-0. Lastly, JV and Varsity both played one of the strongest programs in KingCo, Lake Washington. JV shut the Lady Kangs out 2-0, and Varsity battled to win 1-0, with an amazing upper-corner free kick from junior Audrey Miller. The clean sheet was kept by junior Izzy Shorett and sophomore Ashley Heinz, who had a game-saving one handed save in the second half! Currently, all three teams are undefeated, with multiple shutouts. Great job girls soccer!

Bellevue Girls Soccer welcomes fans for our Fan Appreciation/Youth Soccer Night, Tuesday October 1st against Juanita. Come in your blue and gold and enjoy some cocoa and sweet treats as we cheer on the JV and Varsity teams to victory and invite the future generation of Bellevue soccer, the Bellevue United FC players, with free admission.
