STRONGSVILLE
CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

77th Annual
HOMECOMING
FESTIVAL

July 17-20, 2019
This year marks the 77th anniversary of the Strongsville Homecoming Festival sponsored by the Strongsville Chamber of Commerce. This event is made possible by the dedication of countless volunteers who take time out of their busy schedules to work at the Homecoming. This is truly a community event and includes hundreds of people who attend the four day celebration. We are very pleased to announce the “Hometown Pride” fireworks show that will take place on Saturday night July 20th, 2019. The viewing of the fireworks will be best seen right from the commons.

The Homecoming Festival begins at 3 p.m. on Wednesday and continues until midnight Saturday. The big event for opening day will be the “Hometown Pride” Homecoming parade on Pearl Road which will step off promptly at 6:30 p.m. Plan on arriving early and securing a great seat for this event. After the parade join us on the commons for some great fellowship and to enjoy rides, games, food and entertainment. There will be live music all four nights of the event along with a continuous schedule of other great entertainment.

A big thanks also goes out to all of the Homecoming Sponsors who support this annual event. Their generous participation allows for a true family celebration that is enjoyed by thousands of people and continues to grow year after year. Please take note of all the sponsors and make sure you support them whenever possible.

Once again, I look forward to seeing all of you on the commons and the entire Homecoming Committee wishes to thank our hard working tent managers and all of their volunteers. Without the hard work of this group it would be impossible to hold such a huge event. Let’s all get together to celebrate our "Hometown Pride” for four days and have a great time in our fine city.

Tom Burichin, Homecoming Chairman
A NOTE FROM MAYOR PERCIAK

The Strongsville Chamber of Commerce will again be serving as the host sponsor of the Homecoming activities. I commend the Chamber and their continued commitment to the community of Strongsville and especially thank the Homecoming Committee and the Board of Trustees for their dedication and hard work. I especially appreciate the effort put forth by the General Chairman, Tom Burichin, and Co-Chairman, Mike Kalinich. Many thanks to all the generous sponsors and many volunteers who support this family event.

Best wishes,

Mayor Thomas P. Perciak

STUDENTS ARE HONORED
The Strongsville Chamber of Commerce awarded scholarships to 20 Strongsville area students at the annual Scholarship Luncheon in May. A donation was also presented to Saints Joseph and John School for their Media Center. The Chamber of Commerce also recognized students who will be entering the military upon graduation. These scholarships are funded by the proceeds from the Holiday Dance sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce.

Over the years, the Strongsville Chamber of Commerce is proud to have contributed the highest number of scholarships, with the highest dollar value, of any local organization.

We offer our very best wishes to the 2019 Strongsville students entering the military, and we sincerely thank them for their service.
