Co-Presidents' Message
Acalanes Parents,

It was wonderful to see so many incoming and current families at Dons Day! We hope you had a chance to stop by the class tables to glean some key information about the upcoming school year for your student.  If you missed Dons Day, you'll find the highlights of the day in the various sections of our enews. If you're new to Acalanes, the weekly APC enews is one of the best ways to stay informed and learn how to get involved.
We hope you noticed some the campus enhancements that APC has been working on this summer including:
  • Acalanes High School Welcome Sign & Campus Map in the quad
  • Landscaping the main quad to make it a more student-friendly space
  • More visible signage all across campus
  • Modern furniture for the remodeled Acalanes Library
Don't miss our monthly Dons Dialogues! These forums are one of the best ways to find out what's going on at Acalanes. Principal Bell leads the meetings and discusses hot topics and invites different departments to share what's new. It's also a great way to meet other Dons parents! Check out the schedule below.

Finally, THANK YOU for your support of Acalanes Parents Club! We are thrilled that we have successfully met our 2018-19 fundraising goal and we look forward to putting your generous contributions to work for every student this year! We look forward to seeing you at Back to School night on August 30 and the first Dons Dialogue on August 31.
Go Dons!

APC In Action
Dons Day Thank Yous
We want to thank all of the parent volunteers who made Dons Day such a success. Running a registration day for over 1,200 students is no small task and we could not have done it without the very organized leadership of Dons Day co-chairs Meredith White (also VP of Services) & Catherine Franklin. Additional thank yous to our VP of Fundraising, Angela Ketchum for helping us meet our 2018-19 APC fundraising goal, to VP of Communications Kristen Labrosse for all her copywriting and editing. We appreciate our dedicated Class Liaisons for helping to support the many class events that will take place over the next year and all the APC volunteers who worked Check-In, Check-Out, New Family table, Registration and Parking pass helpers. We also wanted to give a very special shout out to Acalanes community friend Josh Feller of Colorzone for his generous donation of all our new, impactful Dons Day signage.

Dons Dialogue Schedule: Mark your calendar!
These forums are one of the best ways to find out what's going on at Acalanes. Principal Bell leads these informal meeting each month with overviews from various campus departments, as well as updates on the latest hot topics. It's also a great way to meet other Dons parents. Join us for coffee and light bites!

Fundrasing
A HUGE THANK YOU to all the families that have donated to our Acalanes Parents Club Annual Fund and helped us meet our fundraising goal!!

Without your generous financial support to APC, we couldn't do what we do for the students, staff, or school without you!! Partnering together helps make big things happen!

If you have not yet had a chance to donate...there is still time to help us meet our 100% participation goal. Any contribution amount helps.  Thank you for your support!
