Friends,
If you live in Nature, you know that aligning with the seasons is part of being human. It does no good to protest or deny because Mother Nature does what she will when she wants and how she wants. We can take our lessons for living from embodying whatever is around us. In the fall we can begin our movement into quiet and darkness. Getting mad or being resentful about the inevitable does no good. It's a lesson in acceptance of all things. I'm trying. Enjoy the beauty.

Rewriting the Fool's Journey

IN THE EARLIEST French and Italian tarot decks, the Fool is a hobo or vagabond-a young barefoot man dressed in rags and carrying a bundle of his belongings tied to a stick. He is stepping off a cliff into the unknown and wears a white rose on his lapel-the symbol of freedom. In traditional esoteric systems of interpretation, the Fool is the protagonist, one of the 22 Major Arcana cards who takes us through life's mysteries and the main human archetypes-a path better known as The Fool's Journey.
