IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT
REPORTING CLINIC ABSENCES and
REQUESTING MAKE UPS
Dear All,
We have had a number of calls and emails regarding Make Up requests, typically too late: AFTER an absence has already
occurred
.
We have an online system to efficiently handle Absences/Make-ups, but we need your help to make it work for everyone.
First, a reminder of our Clinic Make Up policy posted online:
MAKE UP POLICY:
No Make-Ups Guaranteed. Only 1 Make-Up per session, by permission of Director. 24-Hour Notice of absence required.
ALL Absence Reports and Make-Up Requests Must be Made ONLINE
UNLESS Absences are reported in a timely fashion on the ONLINE system, Make Ups will not be available.
--> When an Absence is reported online, it is immediately posted as a possible Make Up for someone else to choose. Because classes are mostly full, the only time a Make Up opportunity is created is when someone reports that they will be Absent.
If you report an Absence at the last minute, or not online, you are depriving others from requesting your vacancy as a Make Up.
ALWAYS report any Absence online * to keep our Make Up system working well for everyone!
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Enter your ID and Password:
Click on "Booking & Registration menu.
Under "Class Manager", make a selection:
REPORT ABSENCE
sub-menu (This is the VITAL first step ! )
Identify Student, Class and Date
Click requested class
Looking for an extra class this week? You can pay by the class
Again, the system DEPENDS on TIMELY REPORTING of ABSENCES.
Please help ensure Make-Ups are available for you and everyone else!
