Class of 2020 Career Fair September 25 th , 2019 Walker Gym AND Canavan Arena, Stevens Campus, Hoboken, NJ 10:00 AM-12:00 PM – AND – 1:30-4:30 PM; (Fair is closed to students 12-1:30 PM so employers may take a break and enjoy our luncheon) The Class of 2020 Career Fair is the first career fair of the academic year and provides the opportunity to interact with graduating STEM and Business students from across all Stevens academic disciplines. Attendees will be graduating no later than August 2020 and are seeking full-time positions. Career Center staff are available to assist in branding and aligning your recruitment process with your participation at the Fair. We welcome the opportunity to post your job descriptions and schedule on-campus interviews with the candidates of your choice. Let us know if you would like a staff member to follow up to maximize your Stevens recruitment strategy.

The Hugo Neu Corporation Sustainability Seminar Series organized by the MS program in Sustainability Management is an effort to connect our students to professionals in the field of Sustainability. This is a weekly series sponsored by Hugo Neu Corporation. Cosponsors are BEM Systems. Brown and Caldwell, Geosyntec Consultants, and H2M Architects and Engineers.  The seminars happen every Wednesday between 5:00 – 6:00 PM in Altorfer 501; refreshments are provided. They are also webcast live using Blackboard Collaborate. The next lecture is scheduled on Wednesday, September 25 th where Michael Tumulty of H2M Architects and Engineers will talk on ‘Stronger and More Resilient Infrastructure to Address the Effects of Climate Change’. Safe Zone Training
SafeZone 1.0 Training will be offered on 10/2 and 10/29 from 10am to noon for the Stevens community. This is an opportunity to gain more knowledge about the LGBTQ+ community and to help create a more inclusive community at Stevens. RSVP online.

Save the Date: October 23, 2019 Excellence Through Diversity Lecture Series
Through an interactive theatre workshop professionally facilitated, actors will depict workplace scenarios and identify research-based strategies to improve equity and inclusion. Open to faculty and staff, choose from two sessions:10-12:30 or 2-4:30.
Parking Permit Application Process
Eligible full-time employees may now apply for parking permits for the 2019-20 school year by clicking on the “Employee Parking Permit” link on myStevens and providing the required information. Please make sure you have access to a printer when you complete your application as you will have to deliver a copy of your application to the Howe Center information desk. Permits will be available for pick-up beginning Wednesday, August 28. You should contact Patrick Fitzgerald at  pfitzger@stevens.edu   if you want to confirm your permit is ready to be picked up.
Eligible adjunct and part-time employees must complete a parking permit application that will be available at the Howe Center information desk starting today, Monday, August 26. You will be given further instructions about permit pick-up when you submit your application.

New Shuttle Guidelines
Stevens Transportation and Parking has Shuttle Guidelines for the first time. These guidelines dictate the proper use of the Stevens Shuttle service by students, employees, and visitors so that the shuttles remain a safe mode of transportation for the Stevens community.
