Salutations Everybody,

this week Santa Fe celebrates its 29th annual Wine and Chile Fiesta, so that means  w e're only five days away from reception time again!  So come and enjoy a fine glass of wine with my fabulous artists, Michael and myself.

Listen to a live performance by Flamenco guitarist Eloy Gonzales and of course an open wine bar!

Artist Sandi Lear arrives with her latest collection of  dynamic paintings capturing the essence of her animals' emotions to show to all of us at the reception this coming Friday.

While internationally recognised for his oil and acrylic paintings, Charles Frizzell has enjoyed the summer revisiting his faithful watercolour brushes, and inviting us into his charming southwestern scenes of antiquity.

So be sure to bring family and friends to this fun filled reception this Friday 27th September 5pm - 8pm

And don't forget, that Sandi and Charles will be painting side by side, demonstrating their very different techniques Friday morning 10:30am 1:30pm, and again all day Saturday 10:30am - 4pm - and if we're really lucky, Sandi will give us a grand finale on Sunday morning as well!

Questions? Just call or write to me, you know I'm here every day!

Che ers,
Lisa.

Stealth
By Sandi Lear
Water Colour Painting
18" x 24"
SOLD

Sandi describes her work as allegorical representationalism.  Each anthropomorphic work suggests an allegory drawing parallels to the human condition.  Writing original prose describing the inspiration for the piece, Sandi invites the viewer to immerse themselves, imagine and create their own story.
Lessons in life from the wild in life.

"The stunningly beautiful Grey Wolf is not always grey, nor is he a vicious predator, rather he is a leader of an incredibly well oiled team, one that has learned to work together, each with their jobs to do, their place in the hierarchy....just like humans - they love, they laugh, they cuddle, they hurt, they help, they provide, they protect..they survive.  They have learned however, to be less bold, to be more wary, more stealthy, not just in search of their prey but around us.  Blending with their environment, completely at home, they can silently watch, observe, moving with the snowy drifts, using the landscape they epitomise the art of Stealth."
