educational opportunities for students and engaging
our community!
Mile High Kona Ice is a preferred vendor of The Foundation for Douglas County Schools . They have given back almost $35,000 to our schools since 2013. Thank you, Kona Ice, for your partnership and generosity over the years!
On Wednesday, November 6, eighth grade students from across the Douglas County School district will meet industry professionals to develop an understanding of the cross-section of high demand jobs available to them in the future .
Please welcome the Foundation's new
Chapter Bookkeeper, Kim Meigs

Kim graduated from the University of Colorado in Boulder with a degree in Accounting. She started off her career in Marketing and moved to Charles Schwab where she worked in various positions from a Broker to Audit and Compliance. Kim looks forward to helping the Foundation Chapter Treasurers meet all of their bookkeeping requirements.

Kim is a native of Colorado and has two children attending high school in the district. She loves spending time outdoors with her family and watching her kids play sports. Fun fact: Kim enjoys sewing and makes wool mittens out of old recycled sweaters!
FOR CHAPTER TREASURERS
If you want to verify that a vendor is set up in our system please email Kim Meigs . All new vendors need to submit a W9 and any vendor that will be on school property or in the presence of students will need to complete an  Independent Contractor Agreement .

Your school needs MORE FUNDS, and the PRESSURE IS ON YOU and your small team of volunteers to deliver.

Do you add another fundraiser (ugh...no!) or do you improve the ones you have?

Trust us, we understand your challenge!  Most Handbid employees have children in Douglas County Schools and have been involved in school fundraising. In fact, that is why we built Handbid .  With Handbid , you can connect with more parents, centrally manage your peer-to-peer and auction fundraisers, reduce your team’s stress, raise more money, and look like a brilliant rock star in the process!  Give us a call, we are ready to help!
Thank you to all Chapter Officers who attended our
