This Week's Service:
A Celebration of Men

On this Father's Day, the service highlights the importance of  "male energy".  Homer Simpson or Father Knows Best, or something else/more?  Rev. Martha L. Munson

This Week's Drop-In Discussion: Unidentified Flying Objects. The subject of UFOs won't seem to go away.   Two recent movies, THRIVE and SIRIUS, talk not just about UFOs, but alien technology to solve the energy crisis.  What's going on?  Hank Stone will facilitate a discussion.
budget
A friendly reminder from your Finance Team...

Our fiscal year comes to a close on June 30!  Now is the time to be sure your 2012-13 pledge has been paid in full.  Since we base our budget largely on anticipated pledge income,  receiving those pledges is critical to a successful end to the fiscal year.

Pledge statements were mailed out in early June.  If you have a question about what you may owe on your pledge,  please contact collector Bill Jones at [email protected]u

In addition, any requests for reimbursements or payments connected to the 2012-13 fiscal year should be given to treasurer Lauretta Young as soon as possible.

Thanks for helping to keep First Universalist in the black!

Ann Rhody,  Finance Committee Chair

And another note:  If you have not yet pledged for 2013-14,  we encourage you to do so.  Please contact Bill Jones to make your pledge today!
