Join Miss Ellie for a rambunctious celebration of Shabbat that includes music, dance/movement, storytelling, and a Torah parade. Great fun for all kids and their adults. Grandparents welcome!

Israeli TV with Idan - Fauda! at 1:00 PM in the Library
Join Idan as we experience 3 different aspects of Israel through popular TV Shows, discuss the show and the culture of Israel! This time: Israeli-Palestinian relations through the extremely popular show Fauda!
Social Action Opportunities
Sunday, September 8th - Social Action Workshop: The Intersectionality of Racism and Antisemitism Register here .
 A workshop exploring how racism and anti-Semitism function in society, including how they divide people, internalize oppression, and their role in the white nationalist movement.
Workshop facilitators - Rabbi Mordechai Liebling , Founder and Director of the Social Justice Organizing Program at the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College; Graie Hagans , National Organizer and Training Manager for Bend the Arc Jewish Partnership for Justice.

This August, we will once again serve three meals a day to the residents of the Rockville Women's Shelter (formerly known as CBS).  Volunteers are needed to serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We are looking for volunteers for Sunday August 18 and Tuesday August 20.

If you would like to propose a "Themed Oneg" now is the time to claim it, the rules still follow, No Themed Onegs on a day of a Simcha. Let Debbie Bluestein know your date choice and your theme asap.   

Be mindful of the  NEW RULES  being implemented about being an Usher this year, if you want to be an Usher you must go through the security training being offered over the summer, which you can register for here .
