Want to give to a 501(c)3 non- profit that is raising funds and staying local, where you can see where every dollar goes? A non -profit where there is no overhead. No profits made by the founders or volunteers...just strictly managed and ran putting hearts and hands in it?!
The Maddie Mann Foundation for Accessible Play
was formed to honor our Daughter, and to give the community more accessible options for families with disabled members, elderly, and wounded military, who otherwise would be segregated from their loved ones when it comes to play. The first goal is an all inclusive ADA playground build, with over $70,000 of the cost being solely the poured rubber surfacing to make it truly accessible to ALL. We have raised over $100,000 to date, and the city of
Colonial Heights, Virginia
has recently approved another $50,000 to go towards the playground. Maddie's Magnificent Play Park (community named) will be built at White Bank Park in Colonial Heights.
After this enormous goal, we plan to raise funds for parks, local pools, etc...to make areas more accessible by adding pool lifts, ramps, picnic tables with overhang for wheelchair access, swings, rubber surfacing, etc.... Our hearts and lives were put into this since we became Incorporated in June 2013 and fundraising started in 2014. We have various events to attend and PayPal for those unable. Help us reach the goal that will benefit EVERYONE locally, by sharing the Foundation page, share events, volunteering, donating, or simply word of mouth. We appreciate your support. Thank you.

Free self defense class for ladies in the local area. Come in and learn practical self defense. I'll teach you proper punching technique, how to escape an attacker, a slap that will take an opponent off their feet and of course groin stomping. Cause when in doubt fight dirty.
