Re: Road paving this week
Dear Homeowners,
First, let me apologize for the short notice on this notification. There have been a few scheduling items that we've been presented with at the last minute, and the work must proceed as currently scheduled.
At last, road paving season is upon us. I know that many of you have been wondering about and waiting patiently for the roads to be repaved with a final top layer, and the time has now come. All roads are scheduled to be started and completed this coming week.
You may have already noticed some prep work being done that started on Wednesday last week. This was being done in conjunction with other unrelated water line repairs, but the prep work was needed for both projects.
On Monday, 7/8/2019, a contractor will be finalizing the prep work on the roads. Very soon after, the paving will likely start on Tuesday, but could happen as early as Monday afternoon. Traffic patterns, of course, will be disrupted. There hasn't been a set plan of detours and closures that have been communicated to us because it will be a fluid process, but we have been assured by the developer that there will be cones, signs, and personnel on-site redirecting traffic as necessary.
If you plan to be out and about this week, know that your usual method of getting in and out of the community may not be available to you. Also please keep in mind that there may be delays of getting in and out as well, so please plan your week accordingly.
