Pony Camp 2017
Shetlands:  Ages 3 - 6           June 28, 29, 30         
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday    10 AM - 12 PM         Fee: $125

Horse-care, riding and carriage drives. Learning projects include horse "language" and behavior, plus arts and farm games.

Thoroughbreds:  Ages 6+      July 3 - 7
Monday - Thursday 10 AM - 3 PM,  Friday 10 AM - 1 PM      Fee: $485

Horse-care, riding, carriage driving, and vaulting. Un-mounted activities include teambuilding and problem-solving, trail-blazing, farm games, and swimming. 
New this year: natural horsemanship lessons and a parcourse for added agility and energy burn!

Memorial Day Camp-Out
Sunday - Monday, May 28    5PM - 10 AM.

Kids 7+ are welcomed to an overnight on the farm. We'll tend to evening feeding rounds, build a bonfire, cook our meal and sleep out in the indoor arena. After early morning chores we'll pack a pony and trek to a picnic site for breakfast in the forest.

 Hudson Valley HorsePlay is up and running! We offer on-the-ground activities with horses to support social / emotional skills and personal / professional development. Spring programs include "Just Say Whoa" - an assertiveness program for youth geared toward drug and alcohol prevention.

This is a wonderful book (and film) documenting a very special relationship with a trainer (Harry DeLeyer) and his very special horse. Snowman was rescued from an auction lot and together with Harry, went on to become a champion show jumper.
