Ministering the Gospel of Jesus Christ in Costa Rica with Praying Pelican Missions, networking with local churches,  serving in our community,  and connecting mission teams to  life- changing ministry opportunities.
5 Weeks in the USA
We were very blessed to be  able to spend five weeks in the USA over Christmas and New Years.

Although we  did not get to see everyone on our wish list, we were able to reconnect with many of our family, friends, and supporters throughout Delaware, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan and Minnesota.  We were even able to play in the snow! One major highlight was spending time with Darrell, we have missed him so much! 



Nate was able to speak at Immanuel Church, the Warehouse Youth Group, and New Jerusalem Christian Fellowship.   We were s o happy for these opportunities to share what God has been up to in Costa Rica, and about our lives there.

Just before we left the states, Nate went to Minnesota to attend the Praying Pelican Missions Winter Meetings.  He came back refreshed and full of vision to deepen our ministry in Costa Rica.

We have now returned a little heavier (USA food!), with lighter skin (cold and snow), and refreshed and encouraged. We are anticipating God to do great things in Costa Rica in 2017!
A Busy Month Ahead...Prayer Points
Nate is excited to be leading Faith Fellowship from Virginia once again as they minister alongside of two local churches here in Costa Rica.  They will be working on completing some Sunday School classrooms, Women's Ministry, Food Distribution and much more.  This trip is from January 28th - February 3rd.  Follow along on our Trip Journal!  Thank you for your prayers as we seek to see Jesus lifted higher in Santa Cruz and Guayabal!

February 5th Nate will be speaking at Iglesia Biblica Nuevo Amanecer, one of the churches recently damaged by Hurricane Otto.  Pray for a timely Word!


Our children will start Pre-Kinder (Isaiah), 2nd Grade (Malachi), 5th Grade (Abigail) and 7th Grade (Reagan) on  February 7th .  Pray for their continued growth in Spanish, good friends to surround them, and focus as they begin a new school year. 

February 7th - 10th Nate will be traveling around the San Jose area to meet with 10 local pastors, continuing to strengthen relationships, listening to their visions and seeing how PPM can come alongside to help strengthen their local church.  Nate has been asked to do some leadership training as well with one of the churches.  Pray that during these meetings the pastors are encouraged and strengthened.  Also pray for safe travel for Nate and Jonathan (our 1st Full-Time staffer)!

We are honored to have our friend from Elim Bible Institute, Tyler Kelce, come to visit February 15th - 21st.  Tyler is coming to scout out a local church that he will be bringing his youth group to this summer.  Pray that God directs each pastoral visit as Tyler seeks to find a genuine partnership for his church to serve alongside.
