On this week's Agenda...Council Chair Rapozo has requested the presence of the Planning Director, to provide an update regarding the County's Important Agricultural Lands (IAL)
relating to zoning amendment in Hanama`ulu passed unanimously out of committee last week. DR Horton will offer 40% of the project as Affordable Housing.

Planning Department
The Planning Department is currently working to revise a Proposed Bill to allow Additional Rental Units island wide as a means to provide more rental housing for Kaua'i residents. The revised proposal is scheduled to be heard by council on April 5, 2017.
