Meet Zach-
Applications Engineer

What is your job title and what does the position entail?

I am an Applications Engineer. I am the guy who does prove outs in the lab as well as any installations of our vision projects.

How long have you been at ACS?

I have been at ACS for 2 years in November

What do you like best about working at ACS so far?

I enjoy the work culture of ACS as well as the people I work with.

Can you tell us a little about your background and how it helps you in this position?

I have always been happy to go off on my own to work and learn which fits very well in this position. I have had to learn on the fly to solve problems which can be pretty interesting.

What are some key lessons you have taken from your career thus far?

You have to be able to keep an open mind and don’t be afraid to ask questions. Always keep learning because there is always something new to learn.

Describe some of your hobbies – what do you like to do outside of ACS?

I love playing guitar and PlayStation. I have a 3-month-old at the house now, so my current hobbies have been feeding and holding our little girl.

What is one thing people might find surprising about you?

I absolutely love Frank Sinatra and Big Band music. Also, Eddie Van Halen is my favorite guitar player of all time.

Do you have any trips planned soon?

We are planning to go on a cruise sometime next year as well as heading over to Gatlinburg to stay in a cabin.
