Keynote Speaker: Andrew Roszak

Our keynote presentation will be provided by Mr. Andrew Roszak, founder of the Institute for Childhood Preparedness, and will focus on the importance of preparedness in our daily work with children. Mr. Roszak has spent over 20 years helping communities prepare for, respond to and recover from disasters. Over the past 5 years, Andy has been involved in numerous disasters impacting child care programs, and has personally helped rebuild communities and re-open child care programs across the US and abroad. Andy will discuss the challenges that arise in the aftermath of natural and man-made disasters and provide thoughts on how we can all become better prepared for the unthinkable.
