Center for Media Literacy, will take place on Sunday, Feb. 12, from 2-4 PM, at St. Augustine Parish Hall in Los Angeles. At the memorial gathering Liz will be honored and celebrated for her contributions to our community and to education world-wide. Click

DO NOT RESIST, SCREENING FEBRUARY 23
The
Jacob Burns Film Center will screen
Do Not Resist, a documentary film about the over-militarization of local police that has mushroomed in the last generation all over the US, on Thursday, February 23 at 7:30pm. NAMLE is looking for a competent Program Manager to undertake a variety of administrative and program management tasks. The NAMLE Program Manager will help in planning and organizing programs and activities as well as carry out important operational duties.
The Program Manager will perform a wide range of duties with special focus on NAMLE's National Conference, member relations and organizational partnership growth and maintenance.
- Job is based in NYC.
- Approximately 20 - 25 hours a week.
- $2,000 a month flat rate.
- Initial contract period: February 15 - August 15, 2017
