Welcome to 2017!

The best thing about the New Year is you can count on Highway Inn being here, year after year, serving your Hawaiian favorites, and supporting our local farmers and vendors as we've done for 70 years.

We've made a few changes to the menu for the new year at Kaka'ako and we wanted to cover again the very useful parking information for Our Kaka'ako location, so a minute spent reading this newsletter might save you both time and money later.

Welcome to "The Scoops". Catch up on the latest news, specials, events and exclusive offers from Highway Inn. Welcome, to the Scoops new Frequent Diners!

Oahu History

A former  Waipahu State Senator donated two oil paintings from the 1970s of a store that was located of Waipahu Road. Does anyone remember shopping at Takenaka's?

We have this picture on display in our Group Area at Waipahu, and it's sister painting in Kaka'ako. Local Historians welcome.

Parking Map
(if you know how to find it!)

As the Salt Block is filling up with new Tenants, as shown on this parking and tenant map, we've noticed that many customers do not know there is a 266 stall covered parking lot (in yellow) on our block. Entrance on Keawe.

At peak times, head straight for the Multistory

We validate for 90 minutes in the Multi-Story lot as well as in-front of our Restaurant

We're Hiring!

Perhaps you know someone who might want to join our `ohana in Kaka'ako, Waipahu or Bishop Museum. If they love making & serving Hawaiian Food, have a great work ethic, and deliver great service then please let them know.

Positions available in front and back of house. OK to work 2-3 shifts per week of 4-6 hours if that suits.
