Beyond Diptych and Triptych Painting Demonstration - part 2

Welcome back to another BobBlast!

This week's Blast is a continuation from last week (BobBlast #133) - where I am working on a multiple-panel painting. You recall that four or more paintings is called a Polyptych.

As explained in previous BobBlasts, I name the painting first... it keeps me focused on a clear message and a clear sense of purpose. This series is about EQUALITY. The image is of figures with mixed nationalities. I start loose initially and keep it abstract while I layer paint and collage. 

But now - in Part 2 of my painting demo, I paint towards creating an image that is new for me, while exploring the surprises. This part is where I prefer to jump off the cliff and paint dangerously and intuitively. Not to make a pretty picture, but to make a new experience.

Just as importantly, my paintings are not only what they feel like... but what it feels like making them. I suspect the there will be a few more continuations to this polyptych!
