In fact, our new Cutera XEO, with both the 755 nm and 1064 nm laser, was  just "born" on Dec. 29th.

Combining the long pulse 1064 nm nd:YAG laser with the high power 755 nm Alexandrite laser allows for more effective long term laser hair reduction. The long pulsed mode can be used on even black skin and the Alexandrite is strong enough to reduce finer hair on lighter skin. 

Skinspirations' first laser in 2005 was a Cutera 1064 and we loved this laser because of it's unparalleled results in reducing facial as well as leg veins, nail fungus, hair, and for collagen rejuvenation when used for Laser Genesis.

1. Learn how to properly cleanse your face & do it every single night.

Removing your makeup & washing your face are 2 separate steps & may require 2 separate products.

2. Determine your skin type & treat it accordingly. Visit a skin care professional if you are unsure.

3. Exfoliate more. Use good judgment but most likely you are not doing it often enough. Try an exfoliating cleanser and/or acid toner at least a few times a week & prepare to be amazed.

4. Hydrate better. Layering hydrating mists, toners, serums, light moisturizers & using sheet masks are the most effective ways to do so.

5. Stop Picking. Just stop it. Stop now. You are making it worse.

6. Throw out expired products & samples you are never going to use. Neatly organize all the things you do use & put them somewhere you can easily see & get to them every day.

7. Sleep more. Everything is better when you are properly rested- both your face & your attitude.

8. Quit bouncing from product to product without ever really giving anything a chance to work. Most products need 6 weeks before you can even attempt to judge whether it's "working" or not. Stop using only if you have an adverse reaction like a rash or severe stinging or burning.

9. Wear broad protection sunscreen rain or shine. Every. Single. Day.

1 0. Have a series of corrective skin care treatments. Whether that be a series of chemical peels, IPL photofacials or micro needling treatments discuss this with your skin care professional.

11. Use an eye cream twice daily.

12. Sleep on a silk pillowcase (bonus if you can sleep on your back).

13. Cool it with the coconut oil. A deep conditioning treatment for your hair? Sure. The only skin care product you'll ever need? Not even close.

14. Clean off your cell phone weekly (at least).

15. Have your skin professionally matched for foundation, pressed powder etc. to ensure that you are using the correct color & you'll instantly look better.

16. Be kind to yourself. Seriously, do what you can do & then give yourself a break. Remember, "Good is Good Enough".

17. Listen to your esthetician. She wants the best for you & your skin.
