shows us that the environments we are surrounded by can greatly influence our behaviour.
School staff at
École Barrie Wilson Elementary School used decals to modify the hallways of their school, which helped to increase the physical activity of their students and helped to promote a healthier and more engaging learning environment for students and staff alike.

Kinesthetic Learning: Desk Cycles in the Classroom
Story from Beach Grove Elementary School
A teacher at Beach Grove Elementary School noticed that his class had poor fitness levels after seeing his students experience extreme fatigue after participating in physical activity. Realizing that this fatigue often led to issues regarding their concentration during class and a subsequent decrease in their learning outcomes, he set out to see if regular physical activity breaks during the school day could not only increase the fitness levels of his class but also help with their engagement in learning. This is a key initiative of their healthy eating strategy.
