Inspiring a Community of Pioneers to Higher Levels of Learning
LHS Parents,

We are providing the following link to increase your awareness of signs and symptoms of child sexual abuse and the legal obligation of all adults to report possible abuse to Child Protective Services.

It is our responsibility to protect our youth and to provide needed support in instances where that trust may have been broken. I believe you will find the following presentation informative.

Thank You,
David Mower
Principal, Lehi High School

National Honor Society was able to raise $1500 collecting coins in A3 classes right before the Christmas break for LLS (Leukemia and Lymphoma Society) and Shelbie Luce. We are doing one more fundraiser for Shelbie on January 6th during half-time of the Westlake/ Lehi basketball game!
The A3 class that raised the  most money and earned the Olive Garden dinner is Mrs. Miller and Mrs. Tuckett's English 10 class!!
Way to go Lehi High in supporting your fellow student!
Athlete of the Week
Makenzie Furniss is an amazing member of the Pionettes! She is always working hard and pushing herself to achieve more. Her drive and focus during Drill Team is a great example to those around her. Besides practicing close to 20 hours per week, Makenzie maintains a 3.9 GPA. The Pionettes are lucky to have her as a member of their team!
Athlete of the Week
Kevin Winsor is currently in his sophomore year at Lehi High School. He plays varsity on the basketball team. Kevin has had a great week in practice shooting the ball and is improving his defense every day. In the their last game, Kevin hit an important 3 pointer as time expired at the end of the 3rd Quarter that changed the momentum of the game. Kevin is a kind, soft hearted kid who always has a smile on his face. Faith and family are the most important things in his life. If you see him in the halls, be sure to give him a high five and congratulate him!

Boys and Girls State
Juniors, if you are interested in attending Utah Girls State or Utah Boys State in June 2017, stop by the Counseling Office and pick up some information.  This is a great place to learn how the government works, develop leadership and civic responsibility.
