In 1957, the now world-famous "Tom of Finland" was born. "Touko Laaksonen" was kept for family and colleagues; both friends and fans have always called him simply "Tom".
Black Dahlia is the nickname given to Elizabeth Short an American woman who was the victim of a much-publicized murder in 1947. Short's murder is one of the oldest unsolved murder cases in Los Angeles history. About sixty people confessed to the murder, mostly men.

An exhibition about multitalented Touko Laaksonen (Finnish, 1920-1991), who came to be known as Tom of Finland. He picked up both the piano and drawing at an early age.
What cannot be said out loud must be drawn. What cannot be drawn must be sung. The musical challenges the audience to consider Tom of Finland and his art as one of the biggest factors in gay liberation and LGBT rights worldwide.
