"
MERRY
CHRISTMAS
&
HAPPY
NEW YEAR"
Brethren and Ladies,
Helen and I want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year. Our journey as Grand Master and First Lady of Idaho has been very busy and very rewarding. The Fall District Meetings were all outstanding and very well attended. Helen's pillowcase project aiding the children of the Shriner's Hospitals in Salt Lake City and Portland has been very successful. Anyone interested in helping with the pillowcase project can contact First Lady Helen at 208-316-5611 or by E-mail @

. I am sure she would welcome your support and I know the children at Shriner's Hospital will appreciate your labors.
As we move forward toward the end of 2016 I would like to encourage each of you to rededicate your efforts to the family of Freemasonry. We need to make an all out effort to bring our fraternity and all the great things done by Freemasonry to the forefront of society. The oldest fraternal organization in the world is in danger of fading away. We simply cannot let that happen. Our fraternity is needed more today than ever before. The lessons we learn from each other need to be known by everyone. The gentle teachings of our craft can and will help our country revive the American spirit that each of us have. Make every opportunity and conversation you have count. We need to remove that proverbial basket and let our Masonic Light shine for all to see!
A special thank you to everyone that attended the Fall Communications and for the wonderful gifts and support each of you has shown to Helen and me. The effort made and the time spent by each of you gives us the strength and courage to go forth and multiply Freemasonry.
As I said at Grand Lodge, I never dreamed or had the desire to become Grand Master. The position of Grand Master is sometimes overwhelming, sometimes gratifying and sometimes just wonderful in the fact that the support you receive is beyond description. So far, so good! I thank each of you for the opportunity to serve. I am very humbled to be your Grand Master. Helen and I will see you around the state.
Fraternal Love
,
