Improvements Continue on Old SR 74
We recently sent out an update about the first phase of work at Old SR 74 between Olive Branch-Stonelick Road and Armstrong Boulevard.

Old SR 74 remains closed between Olive Branch-Stonelick Road and Amelia-Olive Branch Road as crews work on widening the bridge. Weather permitting, this closure will continue through Monday, April 10, 2017.

As work continues on Old SR 74 to improve access throughout this corridor, we have established an alternate detour route for truck traffic traveling to this area from I-275 to help support travel to the Clermont County Airport and the commercial areas within the project area.

We have added a sign at the intersection of SR 32 and Elick Lane/Bach Buxton Road that shows an "Airport Detour" going south on Elick Lane/Bach Buxton. This should provide truck traffic with a more direct route to their intended destination within the project area. This alternate detour should also help to ease congestion for local traffic using the established detour route.

Details for both detours are shown below.

Old SR 74 between Olive Branch Stonelick Rd. and Amelia-Olive Branch Rd. is now closed to widen the bridge on Old SR 74. Weather permitting, this closure will continue through
Monday, April 10, 2017.

 South Afton Commerce Park
Work is Underway
Development is expected to create more than 3,500 jobs and lead to $1.5 billion in economic activity
per year once completed

The CCTID is currently working with local officials to support the development of the South Afton Commerce Park area

In early 2016, the Clermont County Community
Improvement Corporation purchased 242 acres of land at Half Acre Road and SR 32 in Williamsburg Township that will be developed as South Afton Commerce Park, a "business ready" site for manufacturers.

Phase 1 of this work is now underway. Check out some recent site photos below, and   click here to learn more.
