Vision 2025 and Discover Downtown Johnstown Partnership are accepting proposals for a one-time contract to perform professional consulting services! These services involve the preparation of planning documents for a proposed greenway and trail hub along Main Street in downtown Johnstown.
Goals include expanding recreation opportunities, celebrating cultural and historic heritage, bolstering economic development, increasing pedestrian and bicyclist mobility and promoting healthy lifestyles.

Join us for a holiday-themed party where capture teams and special guests will be presenting all the great things that are happening in Johnstown! Cambria County Native Makes The Voice Finals!
Josh Gallagher of Cresson, PA was voted into the final rounds of The Voice on Tuesday, December 6. Although he did not receive enough votes to be automatically placed in the top three, he battled for the fourth spot against two other contestants and was instantly saved!
Gallagher and three other finalists will compete in the live finale Monday, December 12 at 8:00 PM on NBC. One artist will be crowned and receive the grand prize of a recording contract.
The Holiday Inn Express in Richland Township held their grand opening event on Monday, December 5. The new building was built in the same location that the former Holiday Inn Express building once stood. The Holiday Inn Express consists of
75 standard rooms, 18 suites, an outdoor pool, fitness center, free WiFi, business shuttle and two business spaces.

Mount Aloysius College Expands Facility
Mount Aloysius College broke ground on Friday, December 2 for the college's future Learning Center for Health Science and Technology. The project will modernize and expand the college's health science programs. It is expected to be completed in the fall of 2018.
